Fitment

Certain models of Dapper Lighting headlights use a full-projector design. Due to optical constraints, the lights must have a certain overall depth for optimal performance. It can cause fitment interference on certain vehicles. Some customers have found workarounds or modifications to make them fit. CHEVROLET

1947-1957 Chevrolet | GMC Trucks & Cars have shallow factory headlight buckets. Avoid having to cut your stock headlamp buckets by using Dapper Extended Headlight Buckets.

Camaro: 1967-1978 — the OE7 may require enlargement of the headlight bucket hole. The aftermarket electric kit is highly recommended for hidden headlight setups as it moves the unit lower and out of the way.

Chevelle: 2-Headlight models: the OE7 may require enlargement of the headlight bucket hole.

Corvette: C1 — 4-Headlight models require Extended Headlight Buckets or custom modification. 2-Headlight models will require modification. C2: Heavy modification is required for the 575 headlight.

Impala: Early models (≈1961-1962) may have limited depth for 575 headlights (has not been confirmed).

Nova: Early models (≈1964-1965) may have limited depth for the LED Seven headlight. The OE7 may require enlargement of the headlight bucket hole.

DATSUN

240/260/280 | Z/ZX — V2/LED Seven headlights require an Extended Headlight Bucket or modifications to the factory headlight bucket.

DODGE

Challenger: 1970-1974 — modification required to fit 575 headlights (details are unconfirmed).

Charger: 1966-1967 — Heavy modification is required to fit the 575 headlight. 1968-1970 — Modification required to fit 575 headlights. 1971-1974 - modification required to fit 575 headlights (details are unconfirmed).

FORD

Mustang: 1965-1968 — modification required to fit LED SEVEN headlights (bucket up against the fender well). 1969 — will require modification to fit 575 model's high beams (hits radiator support).

GMC

LINCOLN

Continental: Early models (≈1961-1962) may have limited clearance for 575 headlights.

PONTIAC

Firebird: 1967-1969 — Limited clearance on inner high beam lights. It requires either modification, 575 POD headlights, or a "dummy" light setup. Please get in touch with us for more information regarding solutions and workarounds.
